Hi.
So I will be doing my first half Marathon in march and have been trying to decide what charity to try and raise some money for and then it suddenly dawned on me...why not do it for something close to home.
Does anyone have any ideas of any active charities which are researching for crohns and UC?
I have found a few charities but I think they are more on the support side of things.
I am in the U.K. Also.
Thanks!

That is a great idea. I hope someone can come up with a suggestion for you.

I don't know if this would count as a charity, but if there is a university or hospital near you that does IBD research you could list them.

The most popular one is Crohn's and Colitis UK which you probably already know of, they do fund research (

)
CCUK also recommend
www.cicra.org/
which is a children's charity
