My last flare made me go 15-20 times a day but this flare(At least I think it is a flare) is only having me going once or twice a day but when I go it is very very watery and there is some blood and lots of mucuous. Plus I'm getting loads of bad abdominal pain all day.

Is this a flare? I remember having a stool cdiff test only 2-3 weeks ago when it was like this then too so I dont really think its an infection..

Hi,

I'm newly diagnosed, 2 months ago! I recently started a flare and was put on hydrocortisone enemas, day 11 and in having the same thing. It has me worried the enemas aren't working and I'm getting worse. Just wanted to say you aren't alone. Hoping someone can shed some light for both of us!

Struggling with this diagnosis, crying a lot.

It could be a flare it could be cdiff. See your gastroenterologist and ask for a stool test to look for pathogenic causes like cdiff.

ChristyLat Try not to worry too much, that can make it worse. You know your doctors will find a medication that will work for you so you have the best quality of life available. It is hard with a diagnosis but you will be able to control it once you find the right medication or treatment
