fainted from the pain

Hello everyone,
something strange happened to me just an hour ago not sure what to do. i felt bloated all afternoon butit wasn't that bad, woke up at 3am with the pain in low abdomen, went to the toilet had a solid poop expected lots of blood judging by the pain but didn't see any. got up, started walking then felt really dizzy and had an urge to go again, came to in the middle of the hallway with really bad sharp abdominal pain and the whole room spinning. i never ever had that sort of pain before. after a few minutes the pain eased a little but when i tried to open mouth had piercing pain from the right side of the chin to the left ear. i suspect dislocated jaw as it is still painful to open ad close my mouth and i have a huge bump on my chin growing by the minute. the abdominal pain is still there but pretty tame not sure how I dislocated/broke my jaw but am not sure what to do go the the ER (it's 4am) or wait till morning.
did anyone have pain like that of fainted from bloating or do I have something serious going on?

Go to the er....do you have someone to drive you?


OH WOW....it might be a postural thing, and even gas pains and spasming can cause referred pain, but you should ge checked out asap.

Please let us know what you decide and what happens.

Always best, especially since it came suddenly.
One can always think of worst case scenario....and while they will consider it possibly UC or meds...say this isnt anything like you experienced before.

Hi All, back from er, nothing was found ultrasound was good (I was afraid of appendicitis) blood ok, even ct scan for my jaw is fine didn't break it, although it feels that way. the er doctor said it's not uncommon to faint on the loo, they have people do that every now and again. looks like it just my gut showing who is the boss. I've chipped 2 teeth during the fall, it was very scary brushing my teeth and they falling out. have to go to the dentist but cannot open my mouth, hopefully by Monday I would be able to do so. the pain is sort of gone I still feel funny in the low abdomen should probably avoid food for today

I have the most crazy head that doesn't let me relax at all, google doesn't help either. I just can't stop the what ifs in my head, what if i had a mini stroke, what if something wrong with my heart, and the favourite - cancer is always on my mind. i need partial lobotomy

Dr Google can be dangerous and also wildly inaccurate. Therefore I recommend not googling your symptoms, rather defer to a doctor.

I've never had the extreme symptoms you had but very bad constipation has made my blood pressure drop to point of dizziness in past. Many ER doctors won't know all the symptoms UC can create so they treat the common things. Trust your scans and ultrasounds at this point regarding stroke or heart attack and try and calm your mind.

You will be the best person to do detective work on why this event happened to you. Perhaps it won't ever happen again. My husband passed out years ago, 911 called and we went to ER. He was dehydrated and didn't know because it was winter and no sweating, etc. Never happened again.

I've been to ER due to vomiting blood (9 years ago). Doctor gave me RX and sent me home, not too worried. He was right, never happened again.

Good luck trying to prevent a re-occurence but don't let it rule your life with fear.
