Azathioprine different brands changing?

Hello,

It's been a while since I last posted and on the whole I have been feeling pretty good thanks to the advice I have gained from this site and my current meds from the docs.

I have a question that if anyone can shed some light on would be very well received.

I am currently on 225mg of azathioprine and recently,last week, have recieved a different manufacture than my previous azathioprine brand and have noticed a change in my stools, watery, could this be the azathioprine or should all azathioprine be the same no matter what the manafacturer? They are all 50mg tablets.

Has anyone noticed a change in condition or changed brands before whilst on azathioprine?

I changed from Roxanne to Mylan and noticed no change. What brands are you on? If you have a stock up on meds you can try the previous brand again or talk to your pharmacy to try the previous one and see if you get better. In Germany I had to be persistent to get that one particular brand because the generic had a filler containing lactose. Who does that?!
