Hello :)
My mother is currently in the mists of a intense flare up and it is hitting her really hard. I am hoping to find her some herbal remedies that will help her feel some relief while the treatment kicks in. I fear that she is falling into a depression because she can only make it from the bed to the couch. I want to be able to get her some remedies so that she can get her spirits up and so she can enjoy the christmas season.
I have been reading a bit about essential oils but I wanted to reach out into a community that knows much mroe about this disease than I do and see what has worked for others.
Any suggestions are much appreciated :)

The only two alternative treatments that I have found a useful complement to normal pharmaceuticals that also have some research support are green tea and pomegranate extracts. They are not magic bullets but I've found them helpful for symptom reduction and they are well documented anti inflammatory agents.
