This popped up on yahoo news this morning:

It is about a new organ that was recently "discovered" on our GI tract, apparently da Vinci called it an organ during the Renaissance but was later thought to be a series of connective tisses. It doesn't necessarily pertain to IBD per se, but given that it connects the small and large bowel to the abdominal wall, perhaps there are some clues to be found to help us out.
