Cardioviva Discontinued

I was taking Cardioviva, but it has been discontinued.

What reasonably-priced probiotics are people taking in pill form that they have had success with?

Oooh, I have half a bottle of Cardioviva, maybe worth something ha. It didn't cause problems but just not needed any more.

In remission I take no probiotics but VSL#3 (not cheap) is my go-to when things get off balance.
My stash is in the fridge and at least a year old so who knows how many little guys are alive. Just one sachet and back to normal functions.

Past Consumer Reports on probiotics indicates buying OTC "off the shelf" may actually have fairly low live biotics present.

How do you do with yogurt? That may be the way to go if you aren't lactose intolerant. Make your own using a capsule or three of differentprobiotics (make your own picture?). My gut hates yogurt :-( but I loved making DIY yogurt. The capsule probiotics will multiply over 24 hours. I used VSL but someone posted here that the strongest biotics will win out and the more fragile will not so who knows.

Thanks. That seems to be a better value than the Life Extension FlorAsist I have been taking recently.

BTW - Just got my cholesterol results back. Can't say whether there is a DIRECT correlation, but I am down 48 points from a year ago in my most recent results . That's significant.
