You are referring to
turmeric whereas published research studies usually refer to
curcumin, which is a highly concentrated extract from turmeric. Research indicates that curcumin is as effective as mesalamines with very few side effects.Thanks for pointing that out. I miswrote what I intended. I did mean curcumin, not turmeric.
