Anal fissure and uc

Hi , everyone
I have developed an anal fissure that is causing alot of distress. I developed it all because of prednisolone , that made my stools so hard that it cut thru my anus . I finally stopped the prednisone but i still go 3-4 times a day to the bathroom, much better than before prednisone where i went 10 times a day with alot of pain .

But now with the anal fissure , i am in severe pain every time i go to the bm and im losing so much blood from it. It feels like a knife cutting thru my anus.The blood looks different than uc blood , as its very red and more than the amount i usually have with uc .so idont think its from the uc . I went to the doctor and she gave me a cream ( antrolene) but it doesnt help that much . I dont know what to do its been almost a week with no imrovement . Any advice would be appreciated .

I have a Jpouch but I have the same issue right now, I think I shed a tear every time I go especially because my output is more acidic and my butt clinches up so much I can't even fully go. I've been this way for 2 weeks and my surgeon on Monday said it can take another 4 weeks. He said keep the area dry if possible, and take 2-3 sitz baths a day. The sitz baths help a lot for instant pain relieve but not much besides that as far as I've noticed. It's pretty brutal. For me luckily since I have a rectal surgeon he gave me oxycodone for the pain if I need it, though I try to avoid it, but I'm afraid that's not a luxury for you.
