One knows how prevalent c.diff and VRE is in hospitals and even public bathrooms. A sniffer dog like Angus (was my dads name...awwww) is invaluable in a hospital setting to make sure rooms for incoming patients are properly sterilised.

Hey maybe one day a dog sniffing our abdomens can take the place of a colonoscopy....?

Except I guess they still need to go in there to remove polyps. But the dog could indicate if there is a polyp or not, so some scopes could be avoided.
