My update

So I've been bleeding since Christmas went on cortenemas and prednisone tapered off pred. Blood never went away added mesalamine enemas. Gi wants stool sample and colonoscopy on 28th. First time in all my flares pred didn't end blood. I hope the stool sample shows something. Sent it in yesterday. Plus Tuesday night I came down with a bug and trying to recover from that on top of blood loss. Feel like I'm in my last days on earth.

Yea sometimes pred doesn't work. Hopefully they'll figure it out with a scop and be able to figure it out. You able to make it until feb 28?

Samples came back negative. Still on mesalamine enemas, doubled on weekends. They seem to be helping. I'm also doing CBD oil, Qing Dai, L-Glutamine, and juicing cabbage and carrots. Don't think any of it is hurting as the blood has decreased a lot. Not really helping the way I want it to either. Scope is this coming Tues. He is just going to do a sigmoidoscopy. What contributed to this flare was the mother-in-law moving in with us for three months (she got injured and decided to convalesce with us). She left mid-January, but is here again because of her dad getting surgery. Now she's going to stay with us for a couple of days. Lord knows the details. If you only knew this woman you would understand. She's almost unbearable. Pray for me.

Scope went well. Gi saw inflammation 40cm. He mentioned entyvio and said to do prednisone again. I haven't seen blood since the 3rd last week feel great now. Currently tapering 10mg down every five days of pred and stopped mesalamine enemas as I am doing great now.
