You're doing well for 10 days in, many of us were in much, much worse shape at that point of our treatment. Be patient, hang in there, and try not to worry just yet about any small signs of blood. It's perfect to have 1-2 bms a day that are formed. So, yes, it sounds like you are on the right tract.
Prednisone is likely the reason you feel so good. Give the Rowasa and Pentasa time to work their magic, it will take at 2-3 weeks for them to work fully. If the Rowasa and Pentasa is the correct maintenance medication for you, then you will not regress or return to a flare as you taper. Just be cognoscente of regression as you taper down the prednisone, it happens to some of us when our maintenance medications are not sufficient. A regression isn't just a one day episode, rather it is a persistent and consistent worsening of your symptoms over 4-5 days where you see a lot more signs of blood, urgency, bms increase and/or get looser. Should regression occur, do not continue with your taper schedule, as you will return to a full-blown flare. Rather, call your gasteroenteroligist asap, return to your last safe pred dose, and talk about adjusting your maintenance medications before reattempting to taper to a lower dose of pred.
