Longterm continuous or cumulative usage of corticosteroids can cause type ii diabetes, osteoporosis, glaucoma and other nasties. I have osteopenia (bone loss but not as bad as osteoporosis) from roughly 2 years of cumulative pred usage.

Is any of it reversible after stopping prednisone? For instance, Remicade caused me to have Drug Induced Lupus, but once I stopped taking it, the Lupus went away and I'm back to normal - well, as normal as I can be ;-)

No. The long term side effects from corticosteroid use are not reversible, rather they are permanent.

Steroids are calcium-wasting medications and they result in bone loss, if used long enough then they cause osteoporosis. Keith had his hip replaced in his 20's due to pred.

Corticosteroids send our blood sugar levels soaring for prolonged periods of time while we are on them, and that can damage our body's natural abilities to regulate sugar levels with insulin. Once that damage is significant enough we develop type ii diabetes.
