Repeat Remicade Level Test?

The infliximab serum trough (minimum) and antibody test measures two things.

Do you have antibodies to remicade and that component can be run at any time. Small amounts of antibodies can be fought with a higher dose of remicade. High levels of antibodies mean switching to humira or simponi.

What is your minimum remicade concentration within 24 hours of your next infusion? That can only be run 24 hours before your next infusion and helps with dosing, is your concentration fine? If no then the frequency can be decreased to every 6 weeks, 4 weeks, and/or you can get 10mgs per kilogram instead of 5mgs. If yes, means you've failed the tnf-alpha clas of biologics.

Same test and two results. I'd call and ask what ypur doctor's intending to use tge test, when you shpuld have it done, and what your last test results were.
