Jerseyguy:
I have posted research on many possible IBD pathways, most go down a black hole.
Part of this is due to the mouse/rat models the research people are using.
You will find in the research that even light dark cycles, or swimming can make the
induced IBD better than controls.
Another interesting thing about
mouse models with wild type mice is that once,
inflammation is induced with say DSS, if you take the DSS away the mice get better,
we don't. So something else is going on with humans.
Diet, over the years on this site it seems that if people do a radical switch from, vegan to paleo,
they can improve, or meat eater to vegan they can improve.
Stuff to look into.
Epigenetics. Why both identical twins are not 100% concordant for IBD.
Why FMT works, at least in some.
Radical Induction Theory,REDOX cycles, protease inhibitors, autologous vaccination,
hygiene hypothesis.
After studying the literature on IBD for the past 37 years, I have no friggin idea.
