Hi all, I just had my third dose of entyvio and I am starting to see some small Improvement. Most notably I am starting to have more form in my stools and the mucus is mostly gone. my main issue now is that when I do have to go there is still a little bit of urgency and now I am having one or two formed stools a day and there are streaks of blood in those formed stools. Also, with these formed stools there is a little bit of pain when pushing out the stools. Do you guys have any recommendations on what could be causing this or how to help this?

Happy to hear that entyvio is starting to work for you! I was in remission after my 4th infusion though it takes some 6 months or longer. As long as you continue to slowly improve hang in there. How long have you been using the anucort? You might want to try something else that might help with the pain.

Maybe add some enemas to the mix, they treat further up in your colon than suppositories. That could be the area that's most effected.

I'm on my 4th entyvio infusion and #5 on 8/11. I haven't had blood or mucus in a long time because pred always takes care of that for me. I'm off it now but the entyvio is kicking in so its still gone. I do still have a little bit of pain on pushing bms out I'd ditto some mesalamine enemas or suppositories. I'm still using canasa at night ( that's a suppository) until I'm sure entyvio is completely working. I'd say I'm 75% into remission

Awesome thanks for the input everyone. I've only been back on the anucort for about a week now. I'll give those a little more time and if there's no progress in that area I'll push for the enemas.
Cc awesome to hear your were in remission after four, hopefully I get there in 8 weeks too!
Flowers I wish we could get rid of this literal pain in the butt? Hopefully that subsides soon, some days it feels like I actually know what it means to be in labor 😋
