Half the people in here crack me up commenting on living with a bag but you haven't done it......good job judging something you have no idea about
.
People like cupcake, your opinion on this matter is much more respected as well as accepted. You have a bag, you've lived with one, I have nothing against your opinion.
Those who are calling me selfish, yep. You are 100% correct. But I don't live for anyone else, I live for ME. My life is my life, nobody else has to live in my shoes, if you can't be selfish about
your own life, what's the point....?

And lastly, just to clarify my point. It has nothing to do with being grossed out. It has all to do with how it affects my life and how I'd like to live it. Every morning I looked in the mirror, I was not happy with how I looked and my appearance. I don't care if that is superficial and if it doesn't matter to you. Again, I'm not judging you so for you to judge my opinion on this is just downright irrational. Showering was a pain in the neck, again unless you've lived with a bag, you can't comment on this until you've tried it. You have to time events based on when your bag needs to be changed. I would time when I changed my bag based on what I had going on when. "Ah, I'm going on a trip on the weekend and I don't want to change the bag at a place with 15 other people in the same house, so I have to change the bag on Friday so it's fresh, but I just changed it Tuesday which means the adhesive is still strong and it'll tear my skin off a bit when it gets pulled off" Also, you ALWAYS have to have spare supplies with you, pretty much a full size bag, in case you have a leak. Probably 2 sets in case it happens twice. Golfing, which is my passion, I'd worry on every shot that when I rotated the bag may pull lose especially if it's full and start a leak. Sleeping? Forget sleeping on your stomach or even right side (which is the only way I sleep). I slept absolutely awful because I can't sleep on my back and that was the only way I was able to sleep because of the bag and/or fear that I'd roll on my bag and it would pop and make a mess/leak. And that's not something your body will ever adjust to. If you've never been a back sleeper, you probably never will be.
So for everyone who doesn't have a bag and never has had one to come out and give your opinion on what you think it's like living with a bag? (deleted) because all you're doing is building it on an imagine in your mind what you THINK it would be like, but you have no (deleted) idea what it's ACTUALLY like. So if I feel like I can't live a happy life of how I LIKE to live a happy life, NOT YOU, ME, then let me make my own choices and don't tell me things based on your opinion of what you think I should do when you aren't in my shoes.
