My Canadian Friends

I have a huge favor.......I'm looking for a CSR who will consult with me on doing fistula repairs such as a transvaginal, LIFT or FLAP.

My CRS does not do these and it seems like Canada is very conservative when it comes to these surgeries despite the evidence that they work. I've been in contact with a clinic in the US and the CD forum friends have provided other contacts for me to try.

Obviously, I need to exhaust my Canadian options first, just due to finances. But really, if I had the $$ I would just fly south and get this done. Enough suffering. And now the vaginal burning is back and I have NO support/treatment.

If you wouldn't mind speaking to them on my behalf or putting me in touch with them that would be greatly appreciated.

Winnipeg would be great as I have family I could stay with. I can get a referral as well.

I specially need to know if during a LIFT they actually remove the infected gland...the cyprograndular tissue. I'm at a loss as to why this isn't being done here. I cannot afford the States but Winnipeg would be a strong preference.

How is your friend doing now?
