Noise and gas after colonoscopy

Hello

I have been bleeding from my rectum for a while, I had a colonoscopy in Feb 2017 and I have an ulcer. Since then I started noticing strange noises coming from my bowel, especially when I feel like I'm digesting food or before using the toilet. My bowel is quite bloated too.

I asked my doctor in May and he said that everything will go away but now after 6 months I'm still having the same problem.

Does anyone know what to do? The noise can be quite loud and can be heard from people around me. It only goes after I use the toilet but the bloating remains.

This is unlikely due to the scoping.

Possibly your gut microbes were disturbed by the prep, and you get some gas and bloating because of dysbiosis. Maybe probiotics?

Sounds like trapped gas to me. Do you have IBS or IBD, as some of who do have really noisy digestive systems and excessive gas.

Ditto the colonoscopy was many months ago and can be ruled out, as it's affect is only temporary for 2-3 days after said procedure.

I have never heard about dysbiosis, I will check and perhaps ask the doctor. I'm already taking probiotics but I started in June.
Yes I suffer from IBS and have bloating all the time.
The noise started after the colonoscopy and I still have it today, that's why I'm linking the 2 issues....weird!

FYI, Probiotics can cause a whole lot of gas. Try skipping the probiotics for 48 hours and see if the sound goes away.
