I was wondering if anyone has heard of Otezla being used yet for UC? It looks like it is close to being utilized. I also hear Mongersen is quickly moving through the pipeline with very good results. I love the fact remicade is working for me now but don't love some of remicade's side effects, and also would love another backstop if it stops being effective.

My understanding is that mongerson will be approved sometime in 2018, if all goes well. Otezla is harder to know because it's already been approved in other indications so it should be able to be approved faster with one or two major trials. That being said, they can take some time - I'd say likely next year also?

The new study results that came out last month on mongerson are very encouraging. What i also like about mongerson is that once in remission they don't believe you will be forced to take pills until such time the symptoms reappear. I know my GI is very excited about the preliminary findings.
