What's your favorite UC related podcast, vlog and blog?

I'm newly diagnosed with UC (pancolitis). After a 6 day stay at the hospital two weeks ago and continued use of meds I'm feeling much better and back to eating solid foods (low residue), have regained my independence, am back to work and down to 3-5 somewhat formed, non-bloody BM's per day. Hurray!

Anyway, this is all so new to me so I'm trying to find as many reputable sources as I can to get educated and learn about others experiences. I really like listen to podcasts and watching videos/vlogs (YouTube or otherwise). I've found the discussions here very helpful and educational too. So, if you have any other resources you like please pass that along too.

Oh, and sorry if this has already been covered in a previous thread, I did a couple searches but couldn't find anything other than references Dr. Oz (yuck) and an episode from Joe Roman's podcast.

I like podcasts too but I'd caution you against believing medical information on a podcast; I'd focus more on lifestyle and adjusting to living with a chronic medical condition.

Maybe joining a local CCFA chapter and going to their meetings. CCFA.org They can go the medicines and treatments.

Your best resource is going to be your GI, I'd recommend finding a good GI who specializes in IBDs. Not all GI's are good at treating IBDs and their complexities.
