Help! Upper adomnible pain

I am going on 36 hours of intermitent pain just above my bellybutton in the middle. I ate very little yesterday and today, and today the pain was more bearable. Tonight I ate a more normal amount. I am really hurting now, after doing that. Tonight I drank a glass of water and the pain shot around to my right shoulder. I have not really had an appetite until tonight. I have tried to read on here and elsewhere, and gather that it might be gallbladder or pancreas related. Of course tomorrow the Doc's office is closed. I have read that one of the side affects of Uceris can be upper middle abdominal pain, but it doesn't say what the underlying cause is. I am not feverish or throwing up, so I can't see this as an ER visit. I can't find anything about what alleviates gall bladder issues or pancreatitis other than just not eating. Am I missing something besides that? I have a pretty high pain tolerance, so I am not taking anything.

I've had gas that felt the same...scary. but I also had gallbladder attack that took me to the hospital.

I only ate a side of mashed potatoes. That amount of food is bearable. Still painful to drink a glass of water. Will find somewhere to get checked out in the morning.

Ok, I went to my PCP this morning since they had one person there taking sick walk ins. She wanted me to either come off all my meds or go to the ER to get scanned. I called my GI's office and since they are all out of the office they had my GI call me. At first he just wanted to have me drop Uceris and take Prilosec, but he finally decided it might be pancreatitis and wanted me to go to the ER to get a scan done. I live over an hour from his office and affiliated hospital, so I packed a bag, and dropped my kids off at their Grandparents. I didn't eat, so the pain was bearable. My GI says my lipase was 6000, though my scan looked ok. He is quite certain it is Balsalasid induced pancreatitis. They are putting me on solumedrol because I am going 8 to 10 times, and I am npo. He is getting approval to start me on Humira since all of the mesalamines can cause pancreatitis. Boo hiss. I have already lost 8 lbs since last month, so this isn't helping. Also, they said it will probably be at least 48 hrs here. I will probably miss my Grandparents 65th anniversary celebration that is happening this weekend. Thank you Quincy and ipoop. The support means a lot.

Oh, the other question is, would you bother with iron pills with hemo at 11?
