I am not in too much pain per se, but very hungry. I have never been able to fall asleep very well hungry. Looking at maybe three more days? Would something for sleep they offered help overcome that?

ambien helps me sleep - especially on an empty stomach

Are you on steroids? They may give you something to help you sleep if you ask for it. I never sleep well in the hospital.
