UC and Hairloss

I am 17 years old and I was diagnosed with UC a little over 2 years ago, I was prescribed prednisone, apriso, and azothiaprine. After about a year of having UC and being on these med's my hair began to fall out and it progressed rather quickly... I am now completely bald on my legs, arms, over half of my head and I have lost nearly my entire eyebrows on both sides of my face. I have been off of any type of medication for about a year now and my hair continues to fall out I used to have so much hair and now i have practically none i get bullied everywhere i go because of the way my head looks can anyone tell me why this keeps happening?

They should test you for neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody, MPO-ANCA, PR3-ANCA, as well as an ANA test.

Hair falling out on the head is a relatively common thing from prednisone use but hair falling out over the whole body is not. Could be the sign of a secondary auto-immune condition, like Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Lupus, or something else. Just guessing, please don't take my words as a real diagnosis or a reason to panic.
