And how long from eating those foods and your symptoms?
Are you on probiotics?
When was yiur last c-scope with biopsies?

The time varies depending on how long previous I've been on the diet. Let's say I was on the diet for 2 straight year = no flares whatsoever for 2 years. Then if I start eating rice and bread, it will be about
2 weeks slowly progressing inflammation happening. I can actually feel it happening in my gut. If I had been on the diet only a few months, then time to flare is shorter.
Yes, probiotics I had been taking kefir for the longest time, and Vsl3 for quite long too, but I stopped that. if I remove either of those nothing changes much. And of course I've tried yogurt and a few other probiotics. As soon as I eat rice, potato or starch it's game over.
As i've mentioned before for the first scope I got while on the diet (about
12 years ago), the doctor didn't really believe anything was wrong. So I purposely went off the diet then he saw how inflamed it was.
The second last scope where I purposely went off the diet (about
1.5 years ago) to get into an FMT study showed pan colitis and biopsies showed active UC. By the way FMT also did nothing in the end. Then the last c-scope didn't show inflammation since I was on the diet again for quite a while.
