Canasa Help!!

This is my first time to post. I’ve been reading here for several weeks and was sort of nervous to post.

I have ulcerative colitis (been in remission for many years). But, now it is back and I’m in pretty sad shape, lol! My gastro doctor has me on a couple of meds, but the problem is the Canasa suppository. I am so sore and swollen, I can hardly use them. Does anyone have any tips that will help me?

Thank you for your reply - I have not thought of warming it. I’ve wasted two already.

I am on 2 Lialda 1.2 twice a day. Insurance would not cover Uceris, so I was put on Canasa instead. Also, Nifedipine (compounded) ointment 3 times a day. Hopefully will get some relief soon!
