OT - aortic valve finally takes a dump ! update -

so it's been a little over 14 months since the defunct valve was replaced - all went well surgery and recovery wise, but an echo done about a year ago showed less then stellar function - the response was to put me on some meds to try and help the situation - as some of you know, not a big fan of pharma remedies - and due to the fact that the meds made me feel like crappp, they only lasted about 2 weeks before they went in the trash -

fortunately, my echo this past monday showed much improvement and almost normal function - doc said call them if anything changes, otherwise, it was nice to have met you -

just my little plug for those of you who feel that meds are not always the bestest and onliest answer - ceratinly, i cannot gaurantee your results would be the same - only my hope !

That's kind of scary, but I am happy it's worked out for you. Please don't say goodbye to your doctor completely, keep getting monitored until you know thaat you're 100% stable. We like having you here.

Wow Soy I missed the whole mess, I guess I am not paying enough attention to the forum.
I think I have sort of given up on trying to cure myself, 38 years of trying has produced just about
zero results.
Hope you are feeling better.
What I missed was the transition to TT.

not to worry OM - you really haven't missed much - the whole thing was mostly bone-chillingly boring & uneventful - not even any "fun" drugs involved -

and thanks, the new valve has much improved my daily mundaneness, and has made taking care of the kid a bit easier - plus the UC has managed to stay relatively quiet through it all - no complaints, life is good !

TT: Both kids doing ok.
But I still have some hope.
If my grandson happens to be around, and he happens to go poo, and I happen to wipe him.
It is both gratifying and terrifying at the same time. Gratifying that the poo is so nice, terrifying
that it looks like it is over TWO INCHES IN DIAMETER, I could not pass anything like that.
