Yet another embarrassing thing to deal with...

...staying at a hotel right now, and they have those low-flow water saving toilets that are terrible at even flushing toilet paper. The prednisone does weird things to my BMs -- I will not go one day, and then the next day have like 7 solid BMs in like, 2 hours, like today. Well...of course I stopped up the toilet. So now not only does maintenance have to come unclog the toilet, they have to unclog the toilet with my bloody poo. I am so horrified. I wish there was such a thing as a collapsable travel plunger.

Oh no....I'm horrified if it happens to me at home, and my husband has to unplug it after me using too much tp.

I'm sure maintenance would have seen everything because crap happens. Hang tough and try to keep your pride intact.

How long are you at the motel?

Thankfully I leave tomorrow. I called downstairs and disappeared for a little bit. I just couldn't face them!

Oh lord. That's one thing I always tell myself. "They're professionals, they've seen it all before".

Nothing beats the embarrassment I faced when I was admitted into emergency care (had a room with my own bathroom) - I was in there crapping my brains out and my fiance was outside the door singing the Golden Girls theme song.

I don't know if he was trying to help or why he was doing it. Maybe he was trying to cover the sounds of the water splashing around to maybe lessen my embarrassment. LOL.

Lol....sorry guys....

You have to laugh at this stuff. We experience some of the funniest moments..that others just don't understand like a fellow IBD person instantly understands.

My granddaughter recently told our waiter that "MeMe had to go to the bathroom to check on that thing the doctor sewed on her privates to make it work again..." (I have a colostomy) Then I had to order and eat there...

Fun times....

Yeah, I've had just about every embarrassing experience you can imagine, thanks to U.C. I've crapped my pants a time or two. One time I had to crap into a garbage can because even though I made it to the bathroom in time, someone was hogging the toilet. I've had uncontrolled farting while speaking to people. It's the gift that keeps on giving mad

Oh yes, there's lots of embarassing stories with UC. I once crapped in a kitchen trashcan because my dear wife was "almost done, hold on a second" in our old house. She was horrified as she saw me finishing up. I told her "I have to go NOW doesn't mean I can holdon another minute." I asked her to throw me the roll of tp, which she did haha. I emptied the trash bag immediately afterwards and disinfected well... embarassing but she understood now afterwards smile

Our new house has two bathrooms and two people, works perfectly!

Yep, it sucks, but sometimes you've just gotta give yourself a break and laugh.
