Im also taking MESALAMINE AKA Liadia i think thats it. Im now noticing after an increase of this medication to 2x a day my hair is sheeding a great deal. Ive worked too hard to loose my hair. I was dignosed with Colitis in Aug 2017 and placed on these pills taking them 1x a day for 3 months. Than it went away completly for 3-5months . Now its back as of January 2018. I did get a scope the 1st time i saw Blood last year. My Dr said it just happens to a few folks its just my Amune system fighting my stomach nothing can be done but these pills or shots and i hate needles. Im sharing my side effect because i dont see it on line that hair loss or sheeding is an effect but I read alot if folks are having this issue. I pray it stops I need my hair but I cant live with the pain of this issue either. I hope this information helps. God Bless.
