Supplies to get ahead of J Pouch take down to make life easier

Hi all, I'm at 28 year old female from Edinburgh Scotland and I suffer from Ulcerative colitis. I had my help ileostomy surgery in July 2017 and about to get my j pouch surgery on June 12. I like to be organised as best I can so wondered if anyone has j pouch shopping list. I'm not meaning food but as in toiletries, spray, pads you know things like that. If anyone could give any advice on things they have used and bought to help can you let me know. I know some people talk about using a turkey baster to clean themselves instead of wiping? What is it called? Also I heard something about special butterfly pads that help with leakage. My rectum is inflamed still so feel I may have leaking problems. Anything you can think of let me know so I can investigate and buy in advance. Would love to hear all your hints and tips on making life easier with a j pouch. I used a handheld bidet. It's basically a water bottle with a spout that points at your bottom and you fill it up with water and squeeze. I used that often immediately after surgery. I also used wet wipes. Unfortunately, keeping things too moist has problems of its own, so it's good to have something to help with protection. Calmoseptine, an antifungal cream, ilex (protective barrier). Things like this can help, but it's difficult to know exactly what will help you until you're living with the pouch. I also no longer use heavy, soft toilet papers... they don't last long enough. Imagine if you go 6x a day, even if it's quick, each time requires a decent wipe. Wet wipes help, but they cause the moistness issue. There's also a power called zeabsorb that's good. In the early phase, things are difficult because you feel like you have to go quite often, and gas can be uncomfortable, but after a month or two, things improve a ton. You will do great.
