Infection

I am having a really bad day. Urgency but all that comes out is liquid tinged with blood and pus. Not too mention that doozie of a hemorrhoid (external). Called the GI doc and he think I might have an infection accompanying my flare. My bum feels like it’s been to hell and back. Anyone else ever have this happen?

GI doc put me on Prednisone (7 day regimen), Cipro 500 mg 1 tablet 2x a day, Metronidazole 500 mg 1 tablet 3x a day as well as my normal med Colazal 3 tablets 3x a day. Discontinue Rowasa due to very sore bum. I hope this works. I just want to poop like a normal person not to mention I am tired of changing my underwear.
