Any juicer recommendations?

Good afternoon everyone,
I’ve recently been diagnosed with mild pancolitis and contrary to what most docs believe, I want to go the natural, diet route.

I came across a video and other posts regarding cabbage juice and would like to try it along with juicing other fruits and vegs.

Wondering if anybody has any recommendations on juicers for cabbage? I think cold press masticating would be the way to go, rather than centrifugal?

Omega seems to be the top brand, expensive but if its worth investing in that, then so be it.

I saw some posts regarding this but they were years old and more models are on the market now.

I have an Omega from Amazon, it gets quite a lot of fiber out but not all so I also use a screen at the end (there is are 2 screen stages with the juicer). It was really helpful in the past and I still use it occasionally to make a batch and freeze juice ice cubes.

Can't help with newer models, mine was bought couple+ years ago. Am sure they've gotten even better so read reviews.

I just got a slow masticating juicer it was a cheaper one £59 but works fine i decided not to buy an expensive one as i didnt know if id keep up using it for very long , you can find cheaper ones that work fine mine is called electiciq hsl600 , or go for the more expensive if you think their better though i dont think i will buy a more expensive one as mine seems fine to me easy to use an clean ect i havent tried juicin cabbage in it but done celery broccoli carrot an lots of fruits

Don't underestimate a mild pancolitis case, as it can become a severe pancolitis case and get you hospitalized. There's nothing wrong with adding naturals to traditional medications as both might help you. Just do not take naturals to the exclusion of traditional meds. As the vast majority of us do require medications, there's only a few exceptions to that rule. Undertreating pancolitis can cause it to get worse in severity. I'd listen to your doctors.

Juicing has been talked about on and off over the years. Overall, while you are juicing you have less UC troubles (the less input the less output there is), however, symptoms often return when you start eating solids again. Juicing is nothing but a temporary relief for many.

Thanks for the feedback, may look at a cheaper option.

darn iPoop you how to scare a guy haha. The plan was to do both not choose natural over medication, I dont want it to get any worse so whatever it takes.

Aside from the medication and juicing I want to start following the SCD diet.

I have an older model of this one /breville.ca/collections/juicers/products/the-juice-fountain-plus?variant=38572202243

It's 5 or 6+ years old and lately I've been using it twice a day. So it sure doesn't owe me anything. I'm happy with what it does - put veggies/fruit in, get juice out. Pretty simple I guess.

Of note, I have Crohn's-Colitis with food tolerance issues, but my body seems to really respond well to fresh juice, especially over time.
