Adding mesalazine back into the mix

It's worth a shot, if you are at 10mgs of pred then any inflammation left is pretty mild... I'd add back oral and rectal-route mesalamines for 3-4 weeks, see if you see an improvement, and then try tapering down pred. I'd always consult a doctor as you do need prescriptions...
