Bupropion HCL XL 150 mg acid reflux ?

Hello I had a question about this anti depressant. So I have ulcerative colitis and I suffer from depression and I recently saw a psychiatrist and he prescribed this to me. And I’ve been dealing with the side effects but yesterday and today I started to feel nauseas and all I throw up is acid. And I don’t know if that’s a common thing or if I should go to the ER? I just wanted to know if anyone has had any similar experiences with this medication.

I’m on other medications:
asacol 800 mg three times a day
Aubra birth control

I took it for 6 weeks many years ago and it didnt do anything for me. I didnt have any side effects either. Throwing up bile is obviously not normal though, so I would call your doctor and let them know what is going on. I Googled it and it sounds like a common side effect for that med.

Thank you so much smile ! I’ll definitely call my doctor. But I’ve always thrown up acid,especially when I’m stressed out. But it hasn’t happened in a while and it’s been going on for two days but it’s clear throw up and also including burning poops.

I've been on 150 mg Wellbutrin for a while now but haven't experienced any nausea or acid from it. I'm on the generic version by the way. It does help with my depression. How you find the reason of your nausea.

So, I'm on the same medication. I didn't experience this but for some odd reason I randomly began having the burping-up-everything-I-eat/acidic reaction, it just wasn't in correlation to the medication.

My doctor prescribed me on Protonix (PPI), and it eventually went away. It was an odd fluke. Not sure why it randomly began happening.
