Oh those Germans, always solving problems. "Caught short" is such a quaint term.
Sounds like heaven for a UC'er doesn't it.

Thank goodness we have McDonalds and Burger King and Starbucks in the US (well my small town doesn't have a SB but most places have several). Long ago while visiting UK I remember using a public toilet that rotated open and self-cleaned between uses.

That is nice. I feel like, here, the business owners would say no way, even if it was 50 or 100 a month. Never know though, it's worth a try. I can't imagine the poor cleaning person for all these places. Starbucks gets pretty nasty around here.
