Hello all , i made my first post here a few days ago talking about
my struggle with my Digestive issues i mentioned that my doctor pretty much told me to prepare for the worst because i most likely have proctitis even though i have no blood in my stool . he called me today and told me that someone canceled so i can move my colonoscopy date for Thursday rather then a couple weeks from now so its finally happening after months of anxiety an stress ill finally know my answer im super scared an nervous but im glad i will finally know i just have a few questions
do they do biopsies every colonoscopy or only when they see something looks unormal?
how long does the colonoscopy take?
how long does the prep make me poop for?
do you have any tips on how to stay positive through IBD? im not even diagnosed yet an i already feel mentally miserable my G I doctor certainly didnt help by telling me my whole world was about
to change i know his intention wasnt to scare me but it did .. I have 2 beautiful children an my worst fear is getting to sick to were i cant take care of them my dad past away ( not from stomach issues) it was really hard for me growing up dont want my kids to go through that
thank you. ill keep you updated on if ill be a new member here or not but according to my G I i most likely will ..
