the biopsies say no sign of UC. I think you need to look elsewhere for the source of pain.

Mild colitis and Ulcerative Colitis are different. People can have some irritation from the scope prep too. I think if the doctor said it was normal, I wouldn't worry too much, unless you continue to experience symptoms. Pain isn't usually why people with Colitis go to the GI. We are usually plagued with ongoing blood, loose stools, mucus in stool, frequent need to go, but the first symptom for many is blood. Give yourself some time and see if the pain lets up. If not, go back to the doctor and ask for further clarification, or get a 2nd opinion if you do not trust the doctor you saw.

You are sore from the prep, colonoscopy and biopsies, perfectly normal for 3-4 days following endoscopy.
Infectious-colitis can be cured with antibiotics. Although infectious-colitis sounds similar to ulcerative colitis, they are entirely different. Infectiois curable with a one time treatment. Ulcerative Colitis is for life.

Are you having normal bowel movements ? Also I’m curious , mild colitis doesn’t mean IBD ??

No, mild colitis means unspecific inflammation, not necessarily chronic like IBD.
