Pro tip, you can take that fleet enema bottle and pour out the contents if you're worried about it. Refill it with water and administer that instead. Depending on whether you are worried about what's in the water, you can first sterilize it with a boil and cool down process, or just go straight from the tap.
I've done this numerous times, as adding salt to a wound seems beyond cruel (and the fleet enemas are salt water).
Usually, I have to prep with two fleets for a flex-sig: two-hours before, then one-hour before that procedure time. They also ask me to take a ducolax tab the night before.
