My GI says I can use Milk of Magnesia every night safely for constipation. Do you believe him? Miralax doesn't seem to work.

Honestly, I prefer dulcolax....It seems to be more gentle on my guts...

I don't believe him, but that's just my gut feeling. I've never done any research on it.

Are you using any fibre supplements such as citrucel?
Increase vitamin c and eat apples and hummus as an afternoon snack....certainly softens stools for me.
