Quincy, Enemas are hard to do at night because im bloated from dinner

Hi Heather, If I do them at nightI'm noticing my colon has food coming down or trying to come down then I push up liquid and then I go to the bathroom and lose the medicine and I go poo back and forth for a hour. Should I do a water enema first or do them in the am?

I read your other post, such very good advice you are giving, because I get so discouraged about the blood still being there after day 3 or 4, I’m thinking I’m taking meds it should stop quickly lol. I see it took you 4 months on them to have the bleeding stop right? I just want things to work like popping a Tylenol, quick. That’s been my problem with not getting remission (impatient) as I see it now.

You recommend getting a written report , visual, after scope, why is that?

Also, seems like the 5-asa make me jittery, I don’t do coffee or cola, maybe I should be on a half Xanax during the day

I have ulcer scattered throughout colon. Is this the best 5 ASA to go with??

I go for a scope this weds, flex sig he is going to biopsy more, viruses I think
I had a full scope in October. He did not biopsy for CMV or MAP like I thought he would. I guess there is a nice size polyp there too he didn't take BECAUSE he can only do so much in a half hour he said??!!!

I turned in another stool test on Saturday checking for 6 different bacteria. Right now I'm on Cipro flagyl to calms things down and to get rig of the green smelly diarreah, which is has???? Don't know what al that was about? Infection or fast transit time.

Ditto ipoop regarding enemas...clarify when the majority of your bms are. No, don't do a water enema...

When I was on the enemas for 4 months...i had no bleeding. No invaders as per stool samples.....just inflammation, but it was in sigmoid as well, hence the diarrhea and loose stool. I stayed on the nightly through the constipation phase till things leveled out and tapered from there.

Considering how many things you've tried, you aren't as impatient as you make yourself to be.....you have a lot if unanswered questions regarding flaring, invaders, etc.....that is the issue, like get this finally figured out!!!!! 😬

I suggest asking for a written report after the c-scope of visual observation and where biopsies were taken, etc, because you know what was done and not glossed over like "everything looked great!" Plus, ask if the doc can take pics to show you... as well for your records and future comparison. ESPECIALLY you since so many things are unanswered.

You feeling jittery could be from low blood sugar....take the asacol with food. See if you notice any difference.
Have you tried Pentasa, apriso...?

Regarding ulcers.....is this specific deep ulcers, individual? Or meaning ulcerations...teeny tiny continual easily bleeding on the surface of the lining? This is where pics help.

Will you be knocked out or mild sedation and watching the monitor?
Let us know how the scope goes.....hope something comes of it, as in more definitive.

My last suggestion is I think you could be a candidate for cannabis oil.
