Was the procedure for GERD? Perhaps you can try the GERD board here? The members on this board in particular do not have a lot of experience with surgery. They do have some experience with fecal incontinence, but the responses would probably be inline with "try depends". The ostomy board has people who have experience with surgery, but most have an ostomy, which would be an option if you really have zero control, and there's no solution in sight, but I am sure that's not the case. Is the problem only when you eat those certain foods? If so, could you just avoid pork, dairy and caffeine? Do you ever practice doing kegels to work the muscles back there? That can be good for control. Tighten and release.
