It's not an FDA approved treatment/drug so a Dr. who is "prescribing/recommending" it could get in trouble. The supplier is out of Europe where most peptide therapy is prevalent. They have to remain anonymous because they are selling something with "medical claims" that is not FDA approved. I don't know if they have a UC specific one, but I do believe they have some peptide groupings that universally help autoimmune diseases and do have a few disease specific peptide assemblies . I doubt it would be anymore effective than biologics though as they are both acting in similar manners, but if they can make disease specific peptide assemblies that target the entire inflammatory process for UC then in theory it should be better. Here are a few testimonials found in these forums. I haven't found any UC testimonials but I haven't looked that hard either.
