remicade, delayed reaction?

afternoon all. just looking to pick some brains of the remicade folk on here. Got my infusion over a week ago, usual tiredness on day, no problem, home rested. next day began to improve, 3 days after unbelieveable tiredness, i mean totally lethargic, this has continued since. having to go to be at 7pm, but getting up the next day still absolutely ruined. really starting to get to me. i have no strength and feel absolutely drained, is this normal? its only my second loading dose by the way. thanks in advance. stephen

Hmm infusion-related reactions are usually limited to within 48-hours of your infusion, so tired day of I buy as being related to remicade but not the rest. Possibly other explanations. Are you anemic (i.e., have low blood iron)? Have you had other blood work to see if you have any vitamin deficiencies: B, B12, or D?

thanks ipoop. bloods all ok, and no deficiiencies at last check. so im really at a loss. consultant seems to think im having a delayed reaction, so wants to stop treatment.

could you also just be sick? when was the last time they checked for antibodies?

I wouldn't change meds just yet. Seems a bit if a knee-jerk reaction to me...
