UC and Nightsweats

So last night i had a horrible epsiode of night sweats. Never had one like that before. I was drenched and completely soaked. I literally thought i peed myself it was that wet. Had to put my nose up to the bed took a whiff crossing my fingers that it was only sweat, lol. Imagine that never wet the bed as a child but now a grown 40 yr old man wetting his bed now, crazy. Is this just another awesome symptom from the most bestest disease in the world? Or it is from medication? I take pentasa, rowasa enemas, and canasa suppository. Also take a piece of xanax only at night to help with sleep.

I used to get horrible night sweats. I still do but not like before. Usually the worst I was flaring the worst the night sweats.

ya, definitely plan on sleeping in the shower or outside for the next 30 or so years !

Well im gonna be prepared for tonight just in case it happens again. Gonna sleep on top of a beach towel and have an extra pair of boxers on stand by. Surprised the crap out of me last night when it happened. It didnt seem real. Any tips on what to avoid like not drinking water later on during the day or does any type of foods cause you to sweat more? Is it a nervous system thing?

I get night sweats a few times a year, but nothing to do with a flare. It definitely is a weird feeling waking up to it though, most of the time it is my legs that are sweaty - nowhere else which also is weird.

My last flare, which was my worst ever, I got the worst night sweats. First and only time ever.
