My sons FCP was only 96 following recent stool test, bloods perfect also.
This has however always been the case, and the reason it took so long to diagnose.
Is 96 a good reading?

Every test is a bit different in range, units, and what is considered to be a normal or high result. So, look at the test result and see what the range is.
For example, here's my last FCP test. I got a 46, anything less than 50 is considered normal, and they are measuring in mcg/g units.
Test____________Result__Range and Units
Calprotectin, F____46.0___<=50.0(Normal) mcg/g
If the units and range are similar to mine, his would be considered to be a little high. 96 isn't all that bad, seen scores in the 500-1000+ here before.

Mine is usually over 1000, sometimes nearer 2000. I would be happy with a 96
