Hernia Surgery ok. Hospital horrible

glad to hear surgery went well! I hope they let you move to a better room soon.

I’ve been stuck in that recovery room for 36 hours (same hospital), not fun. I was doing laps around that place as soon as I could get up and walk.

Being in the ER there (Major NYC hospital) was even worse. I ended up there once on a Saturday night for a blockage. Scary place and organized chaos.

I always looked at that stuff as temporary and not worthy of me even worrying about it.

Up on 14th floor. I'm happy man

Big hernia....Yikes. take good care during recovery! A hospital with 14 floors...wow....enjoy the view 😁 and heal well.

When are you out of there champ? Did you lose the roommate? The hospital I went to never puts you with another person. I never understood why they would put anyone in a shared room. We pay enough, and no one wants to share. It's awkward and inconvenient.

It’s the oldest hospital in NYC. The structure of the hospital was designed with shared rooms and is probably impossible to change in a working hospital environment. They’ve been buying up blocks of real estate and building new buildings. It’s not just a hospital but it’s doctors offices, clinical research buildings and a university.

All by myself. Hopeing I go home tomorrow. Hernia was big up high on vertical incision. Sure I have 30 + stistches

Did the plastic surgeon do a good job on sewing up your incision?

Eating lightly bc of stitches. Can't over due it. Catheter for peeing coming out tonight at midnight. Catheter for butt cams out this morning

Sorry about your first night and lack of sleep that sucks specially after just having surgery. And the 14th floor sounds nice can’t complain if you have some fantastic views. Get some rest before you go home .
How’s the pain? And please take it easy once you get home . Work and stuff can wait.
How’s the BM after a surgery are you back to your normal ?
I still can’t believe you can go hours without a BM .
I had to take two percocets this evening because I can’t stop pooping my back
door area is raw and feeling bruised . Since 6:00 I have gone 9 times I am sitting at our chalet on Georgian bay and I swear I would feel less pain if I walked out on the ice and stuck my ass in the snow to numb the pain . I can see the story now in the local paper.....

Came home today thank God. Yes I peed. Today wAs rough. Just glad to home. Tired and tired
