Do normal kids have sharts?

My son is almost 4 years old. In the last week, he has had 2 different “juicy toot” or shart events. I’m overly paranoid because of my diagnosis. I have a call into the Peditrician. But would this be normal for a little boy? He had a bowel movement earlier today, I wiped him and it was normal. But while eating lunch (bean, chicken and cheese quesadilla), he was playing around and then said he had something wet in his pants. He has been potty trained a year and seems to be very aware of when to go. But these juicy roots have happened twice since the weekend.
