I’m back using predfoam enemas again, and I have a query about the dosing. When using a new pressurised canister unsurprisingly there seems to be more foam dispensed compared to the latter 10-14 doses, which are less voluminous. Certainly to the point where I find that it’s much harder to retain the first 1-8 doses.
So my question is related to the amount of active steroid ingredient in these doses. Is the first half of the canister essentially more potent than the second half? Surely the amount of steroid must be reduced if there is less actual foam being dispensed?
When starting on this treatment, would it be more beneficial and more potent to be using the new canisters (for say the first 6 doses) then onto a new canister and reverting back to these used canisters towards the end of the treatment?
