Happy birthday to you, too!
I wasn't aware that anyone tapered Uceris. I wasn't told to do that by my doctor. Did you taper it? Why do you think I would get any worse than I originally was if I stop taking it? I won't take prednisone again. That's not an option anymore, unfortunately. I need to run and work out again.
I just re-read your post and you never said taper so maybe I misunderstood what you meant.

You don't have to taper Uceris. I meant go slow with stopping it. You have only been feeling better for a few days and unless the Humira is what is kicking in, you risk going backwards if you stop too soon. I'd give it at least 2 weeks and then see how it goes with stopping. If all is well, the Humira is working!! But at the slightest sign of symptoms hop back on it until you can get a new maintenance plan.

Oh ok, I see what you mean, thanks. I felt worse this morning than the past few days, and I did my Humira yesterday. I can't wait to get that Humira bloodwork back. I'm so sick of waiting to see if things will work.
