Here's a good read that summarizes some of the theories about what causes UC. If you've read hw for years, then most of these have been discussed. It is a bit difficult reading at times, it's within a scientific journal, but some might be interested.

about halfway through, I was thinking "meh."

The last two thirds of it was interesting and touched upon a lot of stuff Old Mike and others have been dancing around for a while. Thanks for sharing.

The research is good but I don't feel like it said much of anything that hasn't already been said? At the end, it talks about sulfur in diet and I think many of us have tried diets that would be low in those things and it didn't help. I wonder how that study is working out... Interesting read anyway, thanks for posting.
